Just the cake

Hello craft pals , welcome to my room . Thank you so much for calling in .
I do hope that you say hello .

Very hot here so staying indoors where it is a lot cooler . Have finished 3 kits for tomorrow morning so not actually card making but sharing on blog instead .

For this card I have used a pre cut SU card base from SU.
This a Sweet Moments Simply Sent card kit .
Had a few cards left over so using up in a different way to that  suggested .
Front image is from Jim Holtz coloured with copics . The sentiment is from Tasty Trucks , set , SU.

Cake from Big Day set , SU . Circle punches from SU.

Sentiment for inside is from Big Day as well .

This was a pleasant way to pass a hot afternoon .Just hope my girls enjoy making kits this way ..

Quite a mix

Hello you all . Welcome to my room .

I suppose you all thought that I had given up creating,  but not so ! Just been time poor .
I still have my wonderful friends Sandy , Fran and Jane call in weekly to see me and craft with me .
Constructing kits for them and caring for my Hubby leaves me with limited computer time though .

Here I am now to share a few cards That I have made .Thank you for calling in and I hope that you like  that which  you find here today .

A Christmas card from SU  Kraft card stock along with Real Red. I used SU circle punches for the sentiment tag . The image  is from SU  set,  Christmas in the Making . The sentiment is from  SU set , Feeling of Christmas . My friends and I could not agree on whether this delightful lady was wearing a dress and pinny / apron or just a dress .I think she has on a crisp , pretty white apron . And using foam dots to adhere her to the  card seemed the way to go .

A child's Birthday card is next with fun  images and a super sentiment from a freebie on a magazine ...what a find !!Green card base and white layer from my SU stash

Some child  will love this hopefully ..

Loved the paper combination of dots and gingham for this one on a white card base .
The party girl is from SU set , In this Together .  Sorry , I have forgotten where the " it's a party' and the streamers came from . Punched out some tiny flowers with a retired SU punch .

Summer seems to be giving us ,  here in Adelaide , a preview of what is to come , pushing Spring to one side . We have a week or so of very hot weather on the way so I may have a little free time in my  room  while hubby rests under a fan .
